Austin “Boomer” Tackett is a 22 year old percussionist from the Tyler, TX area. He began playing at the age of 12 and hasn’t stopped since. He has won numerous awards throughout both his High School and College Career, including titles such as “Outstanding Musician” and “Outstanding Performer” in many different musical styles including Jazz drum set, Latin percussion, and orchestral percussion. Currently, Austin is a Music Major with a concentration in Performance at the University of Texas at Tyler, and is planning to graduate in May 2013. With almost a decade of percussion experience, Austin has performed with such artists as Brad Leali, Joey Tartell, Ron Wilkins, Mark Mullins, Mike Vax, and Steve Weist.

Darriel Montgomery
As a percussionist currently studying music education at the University of Texas at Arlington, Darriel has only been playing bass for about four years. However, he is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the Dallas / Fort Worth area's many premier bassists. Darriel frequently gets calls for jazz combo gigs, music festivals, and studio recording projects throughout Texas. He has performed with many groups such as Blue Jean Harmonica, Seaport Chronicles, Kid Icarus Project, Fuego Azul, and the UT Arlington Jazz Ensemble.
